Meet the Investors & Companies-and-Investor Networking Roundtable Sessions
We are pleased to share that GOGLA is hosting the Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo this year between 27th - 29th October in Kigali, Rwanda. This edition of the forum will cover a range of solar energy technologies in the African continent, from small scale solar home systems to productive use of renewable energy, mini grids, e-mobility, C&I and Utility scale.
As part of the program (with the aim to trigger deal activity and facilitate networking between investors and companies), we are organizing two sessions titled "Meet the Investors" on the 28th of October 2026 and "Company & Investor Matchmaking Roundtables" on the 29th of October 2026 as well as having a deal room space throughout the forum. We will have a comprehensive dedicated Matchmaking offer which takes place throughout the forum. Registered participants will have access to the Matchmaking platform and can schedule their meetings throughout the conference. Meet the Investors Session: (28th October 2026):
A pool of equity, grant and debt investors will network with GOGSFE attendees. The session will facilitate free flowing unstructured networking between both parties. Its approach will be a high table networking format
Company & Investor Matchmaking Roundtables Session (29th October 2026):
With over 100 local companies and over 50 investors expected, this local company networking session will build on the networking session that took place at the previous 2024 edition which aimed to understand investment barriers in the off-grid solar sector towards locally owned and managed companies. The purpose of the session is for companies and investors to get acquainted, pitch to each other and have conversations on the issues and challenges faced on both sides when it comes to fundraising and deploying capital in the sector.
