THORNABY TOWN COUNCIL - Town Hall Restoration Project
As you are aware from widespread publicity, Thornaby Town Council is restoring the historic Town hall to its former glory. The Heritage Lottery money that was provided for the restoration has now run out and monies we were reliant upon is not now forthcoming; therefore as we have informed residents in the Thornaby Pride Magazine and news outlets a further £300,000 is required to complete the building to its former glory and to be returned to the ownership of the Thornaby Community. Ultimately when the building is fully restored we envisage rental income from offices, Council Chamber and Mayor's Parlour estimated to be £70,000 annually. To help us find out what you think about Thornaby Town Council raising the precept to bring the scheme to fruition, please can you complete this survey by answering the following questions by Wednesday 8th April 2020.
