Thank you for considering becomming a Management Committee Member of the Australian Citizen Science Association (ACSA). 
 
Being on the ACSA Management Committee can be an extremely rewarding experience and bring a great deal of personal satisfaction.
 
Management Committee Members have the opportunity to make a difference in the citizen science space by applying their skill set and showing leadership, while in turn, making new contacts and networking with peers to increase knowledge about citizen science and ACSA.

We are looking for people with diverse skills and experience who can contribute at a strategic and practical level to building a strong, sustainable and dynamic Association, so that it grows into the hub for citizen science in Australia. 

The term is two years. 

ACSA is calling for nominations for the Management Committee for the year 2020. 

You must be an ACSA member to nominate or be nominated. The terms of reference and basic responsibilities for these positions are available here.

There are five positions available:

 
  • Chair
  • Vice Chair
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • General Member x 1
 
Please understand that in nominating you are prepared to commit time to the activities of the Management Committee, including at least one Management Committee meeting per month, associated follow up activities together with representation on working groups.

Nominations open Wednesday 28th October
Nominations close Wednesday 11th November
Voting open Monday 16th November
Voting closed 23rd November and successful candidates announced at the AGM.
