This consultation is seeking your views on proposed transport and highways improvements along Lady Margaret Road between Balmoral Drive and Ruislip Road. The aims of the proposal are to improve bus and cycle facilities along this road. This is being developed as part of Ealing Council’s Transport Strategy, which looks to improve sustainable transport across the borough.
The key elements of the scheme are as follows:
· a new northbound bus lane, which runs from Balmoral Drive to Ruislip Road operating between 07:00 and 19:00
· a new bi-directional segregated cycle lane, which runs from Ruislip Road to Hillside Road on the eastern side of the road
· other measures include existing zebra crossing upgraded to parallel crossings, small sections of shared footway to allow cyclists to enter the cycle lane
