IA-APSE seeks to recognize those who have made outstanding achievements in Employment First across Iowa.
We invite you to nominate professionals, employers, and self-advocates you would like to honor for their contributions to Employment First. While we are not having a conference this year, award recipients will be recognized at the Iowa APSE chapter meeting in October.  

Iowa APSE would like to honor those who have excelled in the following categories:

Professional Award
Description: To recognize an IA-APSE member for outstanding state-of-the-art practices and professional achievements in Employment First as a Job Coach, Job Developer, Employment Specialist, or others in the profession.

Personal Achievement Award
Description: To recognize the achievement of a person with a disability, through integrated employment or self-employment.

Advocacy Award
Description: To recognize an outstanding advocate for the employment of individuals with disabilities in Iowa. An individual, family member, or professional may be considered. 

Employer Award
Description: To recognize an employer who practices inclusive hiring and who values the contributions of persons with disabilities in the workforce. 

You may nominate multiple individuals and individuals can be nominated for multiple awards. Self-nominations are accepted. To nominate, please use this link and answer a few brief questions about the nominee(s): 

Please help us recognize the “best of the best” for an opportunity to be recognized. Award winners will receive recognition at our annual chapter meeting and will receive a recognition plaque and prize.
