Live2Create Foundation Network desires to compose a board of leaders from the nonprofit and for-profit sectors, who can dedicate their time to accomplish the organization’s mission to motivate young people in urban communities to live for who they are and who they were created to be, while fostering an environment of creativity, togetherness, and social change. Because Live2Create desires to be the preeminent urban youth development - creative arts resource in the State of Georgia, interested board members should also strive to be a model of leadership and influence in the youth development arena.
Serving on the board of Live2Create is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is not only able to stand for the mission, but making the organization apart of their everyday life, strengthening leadership and governance in the nonprofit sector, building life skills in middle and high school youth, standing for social justice and change concerning our youth, and who has a track record of leadership and development or urban community development.
Live2Create champions the importance of exceptional board leadership and believes each and every nonprofit needs a strong and effective board to fully accomplish its goals. In addition to the standard roles and responsibilities of a board member, a board member agrees to be an active advocate and ambassador for the organization and will be fully engaged in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for Live2Create to advance its mission.
