Please note that judging will take place on Thursday, October 31 between 12:30 pm  and 1:30 pm.

Presentations will be judged by a panel.

Decorating must be complete at the time of judging. Winning team/office/department will be determined based on:

·         Overall Presentation - max 5 points
·         Creativity  - max 5 points
·         Use of Space -  max 5 points

Rules & Guidelines

  • Creativity and collaboration are the primary contest criteria! This contest is meant to demonstrate team spirit, not financial resources!  
  • Decorations must be appropriate
  • Be creative but decorations must comply with the hospital’s safe work practices and safe work conditions guidelines.
  • Decorations must not block or cover up any part of a fire alarm or sprinkler system.  Extinguisher cabinets, emergency lights, exit lights, and regular corridor lighting must not be covered. Exits must not be blocked or hidden.
  • Signage or decorations cannot obstruct door closure
  • Signage or decorations cannot be hung or placed near any smoke detector, heat detector or sprinkler head
  • Exit Signs, Fire Extinguishers and Fire Pull Stations cannot be obstructed from vision or accessibility
