Kids' Orchestra Financial Assistance Application (2026-2027)

Applicaiton Instructions

Kids’ Orchestra is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which has been providing an enriching afterschool music program for 15 years across South Louisiana. The cost to put each child through our site-based program is approximately $2,000 each school year. The funding to cover that cost comes from donors, foundations, grants, and tuition. We work hard every day to keep tuition affordable for all families. The amount that we ask each family to pay is based on household income (see chart below).

Tuition for students enrolled at Park Medical Academy and Glen Oaks Park Elementary School is fully covered through the Wilson Foundation Empower Grant. Families at these schools do not need to submit a financial aid application.

When you apply, you will need to provide proof of your family income using one (1) of the following documents:

> SNAP benefit verification letter.
> Recent tax return (1040)
> Recent W2.
> SSI benefit verification letter.
> One (1) full month of recent paychecks for all adult members of the household.
> Official income verification letter from your employer.
> Pension documentation.
> Retirement documentation.
