BHHS Legacy Foundation is excited to take its longtime Inspiring Educator Grant to the next level. Across the Colorado River Valley, there are unsung heroes who walk into our schools on most days without capes, ready to make a difference. They build confidence, open doors, create opportunities, and help young people discover possibilities in themselves they may not have seen before.
We all know one!
Who inspired you? Who changed a student's life? Who deserves to be celebrated?
This year, the BHHS Legacy Foundation will recognize 38 outstanding local teachers for going above and beyond to inspire, support, and make a lasting impact on students throughout our Colorado River Valley community. Finding those incredible teachers begins with the people who see their impact firsthand: you.
So... Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominations are open to certified teachers serving Pre-K–12 public and charter schools in: Bullhead City • Fort Mohave • Mohave Valley • Topock • Needles • Laughlin
Teachers may be nominated by students, parents, community members, peers, or colleagues.
Think about the teacher who stays a little later because a student needs them. The teacher who keeps looking for another way to go the extra mile to ensure a student is taken care of. The teacher who makes students feel seen, valued, capable, and excited about what their future might hold.
Those are the stories we want to hear. Those are the 'Inspiring Teachers' we want to celebrate.
Nominations close December 18 at 5:00 p.m.
It only takes a few minutes to nominate a teacher, but being told that someone noticed their dedication, their heart, and the difference they are making can mean more than you may ever know.
Who inspires you? Tell their story. Celebrate their impact. Nominate a teacher today.
