Adult WAM Scholarship Application (Summer 2026)

The Museum offers full scholarships to adult, teen, and youth students who require financial support. These scholarships cover 100% of class tuition for students with limited finances. Applications for scholarships are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Students may take up to two (2) courses per session on a WAM Scholarship. Students must re-submit an application form for each session (Fall, Winter, Summer). Once your application is reviewed, a staff member will contact you.

Documentation of Need: Questions 12 and 13, provide space where you can submit documentation to verify financial need. Your Scholarship Application is not complete without necessary documentation. Please complete the following questions to provide evidence of your need for assistance.
12.Financial documentation: Current SNAP, WIC or other government assistance card (if no date on card, please submit a dated letter or paperwork regarding your card); A copy of the first page of your taxes or your most recent W-2; proof of unemployment; FASFA or student loan statement; proof of receiving financial assistance from any governmental agency; etc.(Required.)

This is your opportunity to tell us a little about your or your student's situation and how a scholarship could make a difference. You may consider the following questions as a guide:
  • How would you describe your current financial situation or any circumstances that affect your ability to pay for classes?
  • How could a scholarship support you or your interest in taking classes at WAM?
  • Is there anything else you’d like us to know about you or your situation?
14.You must check "YES" to acknowledge that submitting this application does not guarantee you, or the students you are applying for, a scholarship placement in any course at the Worcester Art Museum.(Required.)
