Each year, Organic Farmers Association issues a broad nomination process to gain new leadership to fill open seats in our Governing Council and Policy Committee.

The 2026 nomination process will accept candidates until September 28, 2025. Organic Farmers Association Farm Members will vote on the candidates for both leadership bodies during the month of October. Newly elected members will join the committees in March 2026. Terms are two years.

All candidates must be current OFA members.
Open seats are for either: certified organic farmers or staff or board members from non-profit organic farming organizations who serve certified organic farmers as all or a significant portion of their stakeholders.
