The American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and National AHEC Organization (NAO) is pleased to announce this funding opportunity to support the 2025 ACR Rural Health Outreach Project. This project engages Area Health Education Centers (AHECs) who are NAO members to facilitate education and networking events related to lupus. Ideal applicants are AHECs located in areas that specifically serve rural communities.
A total of up to $4,500 is anticipated for each AHEC selected to participate in the 2025 ACR Rural Health Outreach Project.
Two virtual informational sessions (registration links to follow) with representatives of the ACR and NAO will be held to answer any questions regarding the program and application at the following dates/times:
· Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM ET
· Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 1:30 – 2:30 PM ET
