CUR Division Representative (Number of openings available vary by Division)
The Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) is now accepting nominations for Division Representatives across all of our divisions. Division Representatives play a vital role in advancing CUR’s mission by fostering community, programmatic development, mentorship, and advocacy.

Serving as a CUR Division Representative is an opportunity to help cultivate and engage a vibrant community within your division and across the broader CUR network, advancing opportunities, belonging, and innovation in the undergraduate research space. This position also provides an opportunity to build national leadership experience and develop professionally within an influential, mission-driven organization. As a Division Representative, you’ll contribute to high-impact initiatives and help expand access to transformative undergraduate research experiences.
Division Representative Expectations
Representatives support the members of their division in activities and programs that align with the CUR strategic plan, mission, vision, and values. Division Representatives serve as programmatic leaders and:
• Participate in divisional meetings and any required CUR leadership meetings, such as the Annual Leadership Meeting
• Act as ambassadors of CUR, both at their home institution and at professional-related conferences and meetings
• Lead the creation of educational content and mentor development for divisional members
• Provide service to their division and to assigned committees and focused task forces
• Engage in CUR programming
• Commit to a three-year term and maintain active CUR membership
