Many Bozeman residents are moving to Belgrade due to cost of living, increasing Belgrades home costs as well. The median home sales prices have increased by 55% since 2014.

Childcare surfaced as the #2 need in Belgrade in our Community Needs Assessment Survey, with 48% of survey takers indicating so. 64% of survey takers believe that early childhood education is not affordable in Belgrade. In 2018, there were over 600 recorded children in the community in need of care. The rise in spanish speaking residents indicates an increased need to provide care to non-English families.

Over 50% of survey takers feel that Belgrade lacks the adequate resources for the mental health needs of youth and adults. While Belgrade offers some mental health services, there is a increased need for affordable and accessible resources as the population increases.
