Survey Purpose: The data collected allow all of us to tell the story of this year's impasse on the collective nonprofit sector.
Survey Details:
Thanks for taking time to complete this 15-18 minute survey regarding the current and projected impact that the current state budget delay has on your on your organization’s financials, staff, operations, and those you serve. Before taking the survey, consider who in your organization may be best positioned to provide this type of operational detail. Also, please know that providing current #s and estimated data, while desired for best media coverage, is optional - if you are not yet in the position to offer the specificity requested.
We know that nonprofits are over-surveyed in times of crisis. This survey includes questions about both current and projected impact – so that we don’t have to come back to you unless the impasse continues past 10/31/2025.
Confidentiality: Please know that your organization’s name will NOT be used in any way in the final report or other public communication, but rather as an internal mechanism to track participation/duplication of responses.
We are in a Moment within a Moment right now – and will come out on the other side, in part, by linking arms in efforts like this.
The initial survey deadline is 11:59 pm on 09/15/2025. The survey may be kept open longer so that we can continue to monitor, updating the story of the 2025-26 Budget Impasse and the impact it is having nonprofits and the individual Pennsylvanians that we collectively serve.
