Participants are expected to attend weekly meetings in person and online to discuss the chapters and major themes of the memoir.  There will be several opportunities to meet with the national book club to hear from Ms. Davis' siblings, Dr. Delores Davis Grant and Dianne Davis Wright, and national experts in trauma and hunger.

April 18 12:30-1:30pm in Academic Support - Discuss chapters 4-6
 
April 27 3-5pm Zoom and Library Media Room - National Online Meeting with guest speakers and discuss chapters 7-9
 
May 4 4-6pm Zoom and Library Media Room- National Online Meeting with guest speakers and discuss chapters 10-12
 
May 16 12:30-1:30pm Zoom and Academic Support- Discuss chapters 13-15 (online meeting)
 
May 24 3-5pm Zoom and Library Media Room- National Online Meeting and discuss chapters 16-17
 
Note: Finding Me: A Memoir describes accounts of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, and addresses topics such as racism, colorism, and classism.  It also contains profanity.  By participating in the book club, the reader understands that the content may invoke uncomfortable feelings.
