Be Sensitive, Be Brave for Mental Health is an interactive foundational training that prepares community members and staff to recognize signs of mental health distress and confidently support people of all ages during times of need. The workshop introduces common mental health conditions and explores how culture, identity, lived experience, and community context can influence the way distress is experienced, expressed, and addressed.

Participants learn:

How to recognize signs of mental health distress
How to respond in a compassionate and supportive manner
How culture and diversity influence mental health experiences
How to connect someone with appropriate support
Practical strategies for maintaining mental health and wellbeing
