Award categories

Last year we held our first NZSCA Recognition Awards. The NZSCA wanted to recognise and acknowledge those individuals that gave back to the industry. You can read more about last years recipients here...

We are now calling for nominations of individuals that you think deserve to be recognised and acknowledged in this years awards. The nominations will be considered by the NZSCA board. The recipients will be announced at the 2017 AGM.

Your nominations can be anyone that you think is deserving with a quick explanation of why!

There are three categories -

  • On-Going Contribution Award This is an award for an individual in recognition of their outstanding longstanding contribution to the NZSCA and the NZ Coffee industry as a whole. An individual who has consistently dedicated time and knowledge to make a lasting impact on the industry and the Association.
These contributions may include but are not limited to dedication of time, volunteerism, contributions of professional knowledge, exemplary work on a specific NZSCA project, or other notable contribution. Importantly, the contributions should be above and beyond the everyday and have had a long lasting impact on the NZ industry as a whole.

  • Development Award This is an award for an individual in recognition of their contribution to developing the NZSCA and the NZ Coffee industry as a whole.
These contributions may include but are not limited to dedication of time, volunteerism, contributions of professional knowledge, exemplary work on a specific NZSCA project, or other notable contribution.

  • Friend of the NZSCA Award This is an award for an independent individual in recognition of their personal contribution to the NZSCA.
These contributions may include but are not limited to dedication of time, volunteerism, contributions of professional knowledge, exemplary work on a specific NZSCA project, or other notable contribution.

All nominations need to be received by Friday 31 March

Note: The Association may grant all three, only one or multiple awards in each category. Ensuring that the recipients of the awards are truly deserving of being recognised.
