The learning objectives for this session were:
1. Participants will become familiar with the history and role of Mission 66 architecture in the development and modern planning of the National Park System.
2. Participants will develop a knowledge of the architectural language utilized in modernist architecture.
3. Participants will learn of some of the current challenges associated with the preservation of Mission 66 architecture.
4. Participants will learn of case study buildings where preservation strategies are being explored and tested. Audience will participate in a decision-making.
