The DEIB Self Assessment tool will help you evaluate your organization’s efforts in key DEIB areas. Answer each question with a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. For each ‘Yes’ answer, you receive 1 point. You will receive you score at the end to assess your organization’s DEIB status.
Scoring:
Your points will be tallied up for each section and a total score out of 70. Here’s how to interpret your score:
» 0-20 points: Your DEIB efforts need significant improvement.
» 21-40 points: Your DEIB efforts are developing, but more work is needed.
» 41-60 points: Your DEIB efforts are strong, but there’s room for refinement and growth.
» 61-70 points: Your DEIB efforts are very advanced, showing a high commitment to DEIB in all areas.
By tallying up each section individually (with a maximum of 10 points per section), you can identify the areas where your organization shines and the areas that need the most attention. This targeted approach can help guide your DEIB strategies moving forward.
Keep in mind that DEIB is a journey, not a destination. Continuous improvement, learning, and development are key. Regardless of your score, always strive for more inclusive and equitable practices.
