Resident Survey

Dear Landgrove Resident/Homeowner,

The lack of reliable high-speed Internet in Landgrove has been an ongoing challenge, and the unique COVID-19 environment exasperates the importance of better options.  Your Landgrove Selectboard and some concerned residents are focused on this issue and are pursuing multiple public and private solutions.

For example, during the 2020 Landgrove Town Meeting residents voted to join the Southern Vermont Communications Union (https://sovtcud.net), which was formed to bring high-speed Internet service (broadband) to under-served areas of southern Vermont.  We also are in discussions of improved access and performance with internet/phone service providers that currently support Landgrove and/or surrounding towns.

The positive with the current environment is new local, state, and federal focus of the high-speed Internet divide and the importance of our community seeing improved service.  As a next step, we need your help collecting additional Landgrove-specific information via a brief survey.

Thank you in advance for completing this survey as the information will be central to how we solve this issue for all Landgrove residents.

Sincerely,
Landgrove Selectboard
