Health Providers Against Poverty (Ontario) 2016 Membership Drive

Thanks for your interest in joining, or renewing your membership with Health Providers Against Poverty (Ontario)! Starting in 2016, HPAP-Ontario will be formalizing our membership base with the introduction of an annual membership drive. The suggested membership fee is $25*. For those on limited incomes, it is a pay-what-you-can amount.

*Please note that due to our small size and political advocacy, we are not a registered charity, and therefore cannot provide receipts for tax purposes. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We ask that all members endorse the HPAP mission statement.

Mission: Poverty represents a serious but reversible threat to health. As health providers we often enjoy privilege and access to power which many others do not. As a high-impact health intervention, we will work to eliminate poverty and reduce inequity.

Objectives:

- Contribute to the movement for income security and social security for all
- Raise awareness about the health impacts of poverty
- Engage health providers and people living in poverty in social and political change

MEMBER: I am a health provider, endorse HPAP’s mission and values, and will pay an annual membership fee of $25 to HPAP-Ontario (for those on limited incomes, membership is PWYC).
