Meetings & Education Summit Call for Presentations

Lead Presenter Information

Thank you for your interest in sharing your expertise and experience with Michigan's association community! MSAE's Meetings & Education Summit is scheduled for February 22 & 23, 2022, at MotorCity Casino Hotel. We are currently in search of sessions that will speak to professionals who oversee, plan or support in-person, hybrid, and virtual:
  • Education, certification, and training programs
  • Special events (awards banquets, golf outings, PAC fundraisers, etc.)
  • Association governance-related meetings (board/committee meetings, annual member meetings, elections, delegate assemblies, etc.)
  • Exhibitions, trade shows, and showcases
  • Meeting/event-related sponsorships
...as well as organizational meeting professionals, industry partners, CMPs, and individuals seeking to obtain the CMP designation.

Proposed sessions should meet the following criteria: 
  • Sessions must address an issue or speak to a topic that is specific to the audience described above.
  • Sessions must be educational in nature; no sales of products or services will be tolerated.  
  • Sessions must deliver an engaging learner experience (e.g., utilize engaging visuals, elicit participant insights).
  • Presenters should plan to develop and share additional handouts/resources attendees can review and immediately adapt/adopt following their sessions.

For your convenience, you can view the full call for proposals by downloading this file however only entries submitted via the collector will be considered. Sessions submitted by MSAE members will be prioritized. Proposals must be submitted by 5:00 PM ET on Wednesday, January 19, 2022.

6.Because of the cumulative nature of this learning experience for both attendees and presenters, MSAE strongly encourages presenters to attend the duration of the summit. Please indicate your availability to participate from 10 AM Tuesday, February 22, 2022, through noon on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.(Required.)
