Note:  Entries can be made and pens purchased after August 26, BUT penning assignment requests may not be fulfilled if processed after the 26th. 
Show is open to the world. Exhibitors 21 years old and younger are eligible. Pre-Club exhibitors must be able to exhibit their hog without any assistance. No limit to the number of entries per exhibitor. Entry fees are $35 per hog. Entry fees are non-refundable and cannot be switched from one exhibitor to another. The barn will open at 5 pm on Friday September 2, 2022. Weigh and Check in will begin at 8 am on Saturday September 3, 2022. Pens fees are $12 each and will be pre-assigned. Penning assignments will be emailed and posted at the barn, so do not take pens not assigned to you! Pen fees are non-refundable. You may purchase as many pens as you need.

NEW RULE FROM THE GEORGIA NATIONAL FAIRGROUNDS:
No outside shavings will be allowed to be brought into the fairgrounds.  Shavings can be ordered online or by phone and will be delivered from 8AM to 8PM daily during the event.  All orders received after 8PM will be delivered at 8AM the next morning. Fullington Academy FFA is NOT selling, and has NO CONTROL over shaving orders or deliveries!! SHOW RULES
  • All pigs must be blood tested PRV and Brucellosis negative within the time prescribed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture for show swine and must have an official health certificate and premise ID tag. All out-of-state swine must have a prior permit number on health certificate.
  • Market barrows (including a registered purebred barrow division), market gilts, registered gilts, and commercial gilts are eligible. No boars! Market barrows and market gilts will be shown separately by weight. Purebred gilts with registration certificates will be shown by breed and by age. Commercial gilts will be shown by weight and if there are not enough entries, commercial gilts will be shown in market classes. Hogs cannot be shown as both a breeding gilt and a market gilt. No Double Entries!
  • All market hogs, purebred barrows and commercial breeding gilts will be weighed in. No weigh back! Purebred gilts with registration papers will be shown by breed and age.
  • Market Hogs: Barrows and gilts will show separately. Classes will be split based on weight. Classes will be broken with as many even numbers of entries as possible. Hogs will be shown lightest to heaviest. Divisions in the market barrow and gilt shows will be divided as evenly as possible among the classes. In the purebred barrow division there must be a minimum of 6 head or more of a breed entered to hold a class. If there is not, the purebred barrow will show AOB. All purebred barrows must be registered with a proper registration certificate for their respective breed and be registered in the exhibitor’s name by date of show. Purebred barrows must have ear tags and must be ear notched according to their registration certificate. We will select a grand and reserve champion purebred barrow and they will be eligible to compete for Top 5 Overall barrows. If there are not enough entries for a purebred division, they will show as crossbred market barrows.
  • All market hog entries must have a clean, readable ear tag in place. Pigs must be tagged before check in. No hogs will be accepted wi
PRIZE MONEY
  • Prize money will be paid through FIVE places in each class.
  • Market barrows and gilts will be shown separately and a top five will be selected for each. Payout will be: Grand $500, Reserve $400, Third Overall $300, Fourth Overall $200, Fifth Overall $100.
  • Breeding Gilts: Supreme Champion Breeding Gilt - $200, Supreme Reserve Breeding Gilt - $100, Breed Champions - $50 and Reserve Breed Champions - $25.

SHOWMANSHIP
  • Showmanship will be a jackpot format. Entry Fee for showmanship will be $20.00 per exhibitor. Showmanship divisions will be divided according to the number and grade level of the exhibitors. All Exhibitors 21 years and younger who have graduated high school will show in division of their own. 100% payout and the top three in each division will receive prize money.
  • Each exhibitor may show one hog in showmanship. The hog shown must be entered in the show. Anyone 21 years old and younger can show in showmanship if an exhibitor will allow you to use his or her pig.

INFORMATION
  • The Georgia National Fairgrounds and Fullington Academy nor anyone or anybody associated with the show are liable for accidents, injuries or theft.
  • Exhibitors are responsible for his or her own animal and assume all associated risk.
  • T-Shirts are available. Design is shown above. Please pre-order on the entry form. 
  • Only show officials and exhibitors are allowed in the show ring.
  • All Ag Center Rules Apply.
  • Camper Spots are available at the Ag Center call 478-987-3247.

Complete one entry per exhibitor. You have the ability to register up to 10 hogs per form. At the end of the entry form, you will pay with debit/credit card. DO NOT pay for multiple exhibitors at one time. Pay each one separately. Once you click "Proceed to Payment Information," your entry form has been submitted.
