About the Subsidy

We're pleased to offer subsidies to farmers' market vendors, managers, and board members to attend the annual BC Farmers' Markets Conference, "Rise Up," in New Westminster, November 3-5, 2022.

Subsidies are intended to support attendees who would not otherwise be able to take part in this valuable event.
 
We are able to offer up to 6 travel subsidies with a value of $250-350 each.

Subsidy recipients can apply the subsidy to a combination of conference registration and travel costs.

All BCAFM member farmers' market managers, board members, and vendors are eligible to apply. 

 Priority will be given to markets in remote locations and/or with the most significant distance to travel to New Westminster, BC. 
 
You may apply for a subsidy even if you have already registered for the conference.
