Hastings Neighbourhood Plan - spending priorities Hastings will receive £20million over the next ten years, and the government expects us to spend this on "thriving places, stronger communities, and local people 'taking back control' of their lives". In reality this isn't a lot of money given the wide range of projects that could be funded, and you can read the full list HERE.This is why it is important we focus our spending on the things that matter to the people who live and work here. There are five broad themes for what can be funded listed below, and under each of these there are some examples of the kinds of things we could spend our money on.Take a little time to think about what you believe is most important for the town and share your thoughts by answering our questions. If you want to learn a bit more you can read the government's proposal HERE.IMPORTANT NOTE: This survey is not being run by the Town Board, but by Love Hastings, the organisation funded and supported by town centre businesses. We are gathering this information because hope to be a part of the discussion about what will be done with this money, and we want to ensure our voice represents your opinions. For the first section move the slider to assign a level of importance to each of the five themes (1-100). Imagine you have £100 to spread between them, so try and get the total of all five to as close to £100 as you can (don't worry if it's a bit out). Question Title * 1.
