Award Nominations
The WMBA Best in Business Awards were created in 2015 to recognize the exceptional work of individual employees and the commitment they have to the mortgage lending industry. We will continue to recognize exceptional work in the Madison, Milwaukee and Other markets in Wisconsin. To see the list of winners from 2019, click here.

Criteria for a Best in Business Nominee
Must be employed by a member company of the WMBA. As of 9/24/2020 we will accept nominations from the "Other Market" area outside of Madison and Milwaukee whose company is not a WMBA member.
Candidate demonstrates excellence, outstanding performance and dedication to the mortgage industry.
You may submit multiple nominations by completing the survey more than once.
2019 Award Winners are NOT eligible for the same award in 2020.
Previous finalists ARE eligible to be nominated again.
Best in Business Committee members are exempt from being nominated.
Nominations
Include any information you feel is important for consideration of your nominee. Provide specific examples of how the nominee has demonstrated excellence, outstanding performance and initiative in their position. You may include information on awards or honors received, community, industry or committee involvement. Tell us what makes them awesome!

Nominations Selection Committee
The Best in Business Awards Committee, consisting of a large, diverse group of directors from the WMBA Board, Madison and Milwaukee Chapter board members, and a group of other members of record will screen all nominations and may contact nominators and nominees for additional information. The committee will then select the finalists.
Finalist Selection
Once the finalists are selected by the nominations committee and the finalist accepts the nomination, members from the WMBA Executive Board, Madison Chapter and Milwaukee Chapter each receive one (1) vote in each award category. Finalists will be announced at the WMBA Golf Outing on September 10, 2020 and the winners will be announced at the Best in Business Award Ceremony on October 22, 2020.
Nominations close on July 22, 2020.
