2050 ORTP Land Management Agencies Consultation

The 2050 Oʻahu Regional Transportation Plan (ORTP) must provide information on efforts to consult with Federal, State, and Tribal land management, wildlife, and regulatory agencies. The ORTP must also include a discussion of the types of potential environmental mitigation activities and potential areas to carry out these activities, including activities that may have the greatest potential to restore and maintain the environmental functions affected by the projects and programs in the ORTP. The discussion may focus on policies, programs, strategies, or project level mitigation activities.

To assist with the consultation, OahuMPO mapped all of the proposed projects and programs in GIS, with the environmentally sensitive areas, provided by the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife and the University of Hawaiʻi Sea Grant Program.
