Every five years, Bi-State Regional Commission updates a Long Range Transportation Plan for the Iowa Region 9 Area, consisting of Muscatine County and rural Scott County. The update process reflects changes in our transportation system and lays the foundation for future improvements. If you live, work, or travel in Muscatine or rural Scott Counties, we want to hear from you! Picture our roads and bus routes, trails and sidewalks, motor, air and water freight transportation in 2045. Imagine our future! What will it look like?
Public input is a key component to transportation planning. This survey is designed to gather ideas on future Region 9 transportation priorities. Take this opportunity to help shape our future transportation network.
The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, June 5, 2020. The information will be used in the development of the 2045 Iowa Region 9 Long Range Transportation Plan which is expected to be adopted by September 2020. Your input will help shape future transportation in Muscatine and rural Scott Counties.
