2027 GCAAR Board of Directors application
The Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors is responsible for leading the association's 11,000+ members year by year. The nominees are selected based on a wide variety of factors, including association service, leadership skills and professional experience.
The Board of Directors meets bimonthly, and each board member is expected to actively engage and participate in association functions and efforts throughout the course of the year.
Board members are also expected to be responsive and available to participate in media interviews or other emergent issues, as needed.
Only REALTOR® members whose firms have offices in Maryland or the District of Columbia, who work primarily from a place of business in Montgomery County or the District of Columbia for purposes of the National Association of REALTORS® and the Applicable State Association of REALTORS® shall be eligible to hold an elective office.
Additionally, a candidate for election as a Director or Officer:
* Must be a primary REALTOR® member of GCAAR.
* Must hold a valid real estate license in the State of Maryland or the District of Columbia.
* Shall have been a member of the Association for at least four (4) consecutive years prior submitting the application.
* Must have served on a GCAAR committee for at least two (2) full years of the last five (5) years prior submitting the application.
* Shall not have been found in violation of the Code of Ethics within the last 36 months.
* Must be a
GCAAR Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Champion
