Welcome (or welcome back!) to the Advisory Council for the DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey (DCWS). Your advice helps DataHaven determine what to collect through its statewide survey programs.

In early 2027, we will begin Wave 9 of the DCWS, which will conduct live interviews of thousands of randomly-selected adults in all Connecticut towns. The survey produces reliable statistical information for all Connecticut towns as well as for specific communities within the state. Questions from prior surveys may be viewed on the survey page of our website.

The Advisory Council is open to representatives from all Connecticut agencies, non-profits, and community-based organizations. Over 300 individuals participated in the Advisory Councils for our 2021 and 2024 surveys.

Participation in the DCWS Advisory Council is easy! These are the expectations:
  1. Spend about 10 minutes to complete this initial registration form, which collects background information and suggestions for topics or questions to include in our statewide survey in 2027.
  2. Later this year, Advisory Council members will be invited to complete a second survey, where they can "vote" on specific questions to include in our 2027 survey questionnaire(s).
  3. More than one representative per organization may participate in the Advisory Council. At the end of this survey there is a place to suggest additional members.
  4. Advisory Council members will be added to our mailing list, and may receive invitations to our statewide data release and other events (space permitting).
