Thank you for submitting a proposal for an AIEA Preconference Workshop.
Workshops are an important part of the AIEA Annual Conference, providing interactive, deep-dive learning experiences for leaders in international higher education. We aim to offer participants with a wide variety of workshop options on timely topics and will be evaluating proposals on relevance, learning design, interactivity, presenter expertise, and practical value to participants.
Submission Deadline: June 30
Workshop Types
Virtual Workshops
- Delivered via Zoom Meeting
- 2.5 hours (scheduled between January 15 – February 15, 2027)
- Must be interactive and engagement-focused
- Compensation: 15% discount on conference registration for up to 5 presenters
- Minimum of 8 registered participants required to run
In-Person Workshops
- Held Monday of the conference (morning or afternoon)
4 hours total - Room setup: roundtables with theater seating in the back
A/V provided (presenters must bring their own computer) - Coffee/tea provided
- Must be interactive; break timing at presenter discretion
- Compensation: 50% off full conference registration for up to 3 presenters
- Minimum of 8 registered participants required to run
