Thank you for your interest in joining the 2026 PH Patient & Family Symposium Planning Committee. The event will take place on Saturday, 25-26, 2026 in Vancouver, BC.

The Planning Committee will be made up of PH community volunteers from across Western Canada. The committee will collaborate with PHA Canada to plan the 2026 PH Patient & Family Symposium, including but not limited to:

- Develop and finalize the content for the event (e.g. topics, speakers, schedules, recruitment etc.)

- Champion the events, and encourage others to promote them among their networks

- Attend the event in-person and act as an on-site volunteer


Meetings and Time Commitment

PHA Canada will be responsible for establishing the appropriate meeting schedule, associated communications, etc., necessary for the planning committee to do its work. This committee will meet six to seven times (virtually) between January to October 2026. The meeting dates and times will be selected based on the availability of the committee members.

Eligibility

- Commit to attending regular monthly meetings (virtually)
- Resides in Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, YK/NWT)
- Plans to attend the event in-person (September 25-26 in Vancouver, BC)
