The
2026 Assessments for Children in ODHS Custody Technical Learning Series is a six‑month, opt‑in collaborative designed to help CCOs, DCOs, ODHS partners, and providers strengthen their performance on the updated 2026 incentive metric. With new requirements that physical and dental health assessments occur within 30 days of notification, this series creates a structured space for teams to problem‑solve together, review workflows, and build alignment across partners. Each monthly session combines targeted technical assistance, practical tools, and real‑time peer sharing to address barriers related to timeliness, care coordination, and cross‑agency collaboration.
Topics will include:
- Kickoff session with systems mapping and review of assessment timelines and challenges
- Clarifying care coordination roles, responsibilities, and scheduling workflows
- Strengthening relationships with providers across physical, behavioral, and dental health
- Building relationships with ODHS partners and troubleshooting shared challenges
- Educating and communicating with resource parents
- Sustaining progress and planning for continued improvement into 2027 and beyond
Audience: CCO and DCO staff working on the incentive metric and/or care coordination; provider partners in behavioral health, dentistry and primary care; ODHS partners
Schedule: Second or third Thursday of each month from 10:05-11:30 am; March-August 2026
