Intro and Presenter Information

Thanks for your interest in sharing expertise at the 2026 Massachusetts Land Conservation Conference!

Time and Place
Conference: FRIDAY, March 13, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. UMass Amherst. Workshops take place 10:00 a.m. - 3:40 p.m. Conference schedule to date.

Session Guidelines
Workshop sessions will be 75 minutes (morning sessions) or 60 minutes (2:40 p.m. session only), with at least 20 minutes reserved for questions and discussion. Formats can be classroom-style presentations, panels, or roundtable discussions. While case examples are welcome, the case information should be useful to the broader conservation community. Consider a roundtable for the 60-minute timeslot at 2:40 p.m., with an emphasis on a few of specific or curated topics for the group's discussion.

Proposals are welcome on any topic, and we especially encourage workshops that address conservation in environmental justice communities and/or nature-based solutions to climate change. Please propose no more than three presenters for a single workshop. If you plan for two or more presenters, we highly encourage different organizations to be represented so attendees can hear varied perspectives.

Proposal Deadline EXTENDED to: Sunday, October 5
