Recognizing a business operating for three years or less that demonstrates excellence in entrepreneurship through rapid growth, innovative marketing, and exceptional determination. This award celebrates rising businesses that have established a strong foundation, overcome challenges, and shown outstanding potential for long-term success and lasting impact.
Customer Service Excellence Award

Recognizing a business that demonstrates exceptional excellence in customer service through outstanding client satisfaction, professionalism, and consistent delivery of high-quality products or services. This award celebrates businesses that go above and beyond customer expectations, demonstrate reliability and value, and maintain a Google Business rating of 4 to 5 stars.
Tech Company of the Year Award

Recognizing a business that demonstrates excellence in technology, innovation, and growth through the development or application of advanced technological solutions. This award celebrates businesses that leverage technology, engineering, digital solutions, or innovative technical systems to solve challenges, improve efficiency, drive industry advancement, and create meaningful impact within the business community.
Game Changer Award

Recognizing a business that demonstrates excellence in innovation, creativity, and forward-thinking leadership by challenging traditional approaches and introducing bold ideas or transformative solutions. This award celebrates businesses that redefine industry standards, inspire change, and create meaningful impact through originality, vision, and a commitment to advancing their industry.
Community Connector and Supporter Award

For the business that demonstrates a greater level of commitment to connecting members of their local community and providing referrals by sharing knowledge, expertise, and resources for mutual benefit throughout the year and beyond.
Pillar of Excellence Award

Recognizing a business that exemplifies sustained excellence, visionary leadership, and exceptional performance over time. This award celebrates established businesses that have demonstrated resilience, achieved lasting success, and built a legacy of positive impact through their commitment to innovation, integrity, and the advancement of Virginia’s business community.
Community Enrichment Award

Recognizing a business that demonstrates excellence in improving lives through education, wellness, personal development, and empowerment. This award celebrates businesses that create meaningful opportunities, enhance quality of life, and inspire individuals and families to learn, grow, and thrive.
Social Impact Champion Award

Recognizing a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that demonstrates excellence in community service, leadership, and social impact. This award celebrates organizations that address critical community needs, empower underserved populations, and create meaningful, measurable, and lasting change through innovative programs, dedicated service, and a commitment to building stronger, more resilient communities.
Education & Empowerment Award

Recognizing a business that expands opportunities through education, training, mentorship, financial literacy, or personal development, equipping individuals with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to build brighter futures.
Cultural Catalyst Award

Recognizing a business or organization that demonstrates excellence in celebrating, preserving, and advancing culture through creative expression, storytelling, heritage, and community engagement. This award honors those making meaningful contributions across industries such as fashion, film, music, podcasting, media, arts, and entertainment. It celebrates visionaries who amplify diverse voices, champion cultural identity, inspire meaningful conversations, and use their creativity, talents, and platforms to enrich communities and create a lasting cultural impact.
The Blackprint Award

Premier Award of the Evening. The highest distinction of the Black Brilliance Awards, recognizing a visionary business or entrepreneur who demonstrates extraordinary excellence in cultural influence, social media, and digital storytelling. This prestigious award celebrates a trailblazer whose creativity, authentic voice, and influential presence shape cultural conversations, amplify Black voices and experiences, inspire communities, and leave a lasting imprint on culture and society.
