Are you passionate about strengthening energy and economic security programs for low-income individuals and families? Do you have innovative ideas, best practices, or lived experience that can help shape the future of our network?

The NASCSP 2026 Winter Training Conference is your opportunity to share innovative ideas, best practices, and cutting-edge strategies that amplify the voices of and strengthen energy and economic security programs for low-income individuals and families. We’re seeking speakers and thought leaders who can offer actionable insights and valuable resources, inspire change, and foster meaningful discussions that will help advance our network.

We invite proposals for our Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), and/or general session tracks from state and local agency staff, subject matter experts, nonprofit leaders, policy advocates, and those with lived experience to submit proposals. NASCSP is seeking proposals in fiscal, technical, and programmatic areas of both programs, with top priorities listed below:

CSBG:
  • Policy Manual/SOP Development
  • Subgrantee Program Management - Best practices/assisting struggling subgrantees
  • Fiscal Monitoring
  • Programmatic Monitoring
  • Data Messaging/Storytelling
  • Funding Formula Changes
  • Training and Technical Assistance Planning

WAP:
  • Grantee and Subgrantee Program Management – Best Practices
  • Monitoring and Risk Assessments
  • Quality Assurance (QA) and Inspection Best Practices
  • Innovative Workforce Projects
  • Data collection, reporting, and QA Tools
  • Energy Audits, Priority Lists, and SWS training
  • Leadership and relational skills
Whether you are actively working to improve people's lives or bring valuable firsthand experience and insights, your knowledge and passion have a place here! The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 12 PM ET!

NOTE: NASCSP is unable to cover presenter travel expenses. All presenters will receive a 10% discount on our Conference registration. Presenters will receive a complimentary day pass for the day on which they present. A presenter who wants to attend any portion of the conference other than the day they present is required to register and pay the conference registration fee, with the 10% discount applied.
