Outline of the program

The WEST Mentoring Program helps mentees work toward their goals through dynamic non-traditional mentoring. This approach provides multiple perspectives, from mentors and peers, to deliver focused action plans.

Description

The program includes a kickoff/training session for all on 9/10 then five (5) sessions on 9/17, 10/8, 10/29, 11/19, and 12/10. All sessions are 6-8pm via Zoom. Total interactive time commitment is 12 hours over 6 meetings. Additional details can be found here https://www.westorg.org/2026-mentoring-program

Each session will have a core pod meeting and a small group topic based discussions. In the core pod, the general topic for the whole program will be set from the beginning and the same group will meet each session checking in a goal progress and needs. In the small group topic based discussions, mentors will address a topic with 1-3 mentees on the most popular discussion topics.
