Award Regulations:

Eligibility
In 2003, the APA “Outside Sales Rep. Of the Year” Award was created to recognize the one sales rep who has contributed the most to the recognition industry during the past year and throughout their career. To be eligible for this award, a sales rep must currently be employed by or represent an APA Supplier Member and must be nominated by a current APA Retailer or Supplier member. A supplier cannot nominate a sales rep that is employed by their company or is contracted to sell their products. Nominations due by December 19, 2025.

Nomination Guidelines
Nominees will be evaluated on the basis of significant innovative dedicated and consistent contributions in the areas of customer service, vendor relations, sales excellence and industry knowledge. Both the nominee and the APA Supplier member whose products are sold by the sales rep will be notified of the nomination.

Judging Process
Although multiple nominations can be submitted for each representative, only one nomination is required to ensure eligibility for the award. The Awards Committee will score all entrants and select a winner.

The award recipient will be announced at the 2026 International Personalization Expo in Las Vegas. The winner will receive a Gold Obelisk and a profile in Insights magazine.
