Purple Heart Day Informational Sessions

Please join us on Friday, August 7th, 2026, for a Purple Heart Informational session with Commander Hunker from the Arizona Local Chapter #691 Military Order of the Purple Heart. During this time, you will learn about the history and significance of the Purple Heart Medal and honor the service and sacrifice of those who were wounded or lost their lives in combat while serving our nation.

Participants will also learn about what it means to be a Purple Heart Community - a designation that reflects a community's commitment to recognizing, honoring, and supporting Purple Heart recipients and their families while preserving the legacy of their service and sacrifice.

Sessions will be taken place in the Round House Cafe Nyaa (Sun) meeting room and limited seats available for each session.

Each participant will receive incentives for attending, while supplies last.

I hereby consent and authorize the SRPMIC and its Departments to use photographs taken of me or my minor child, as well as my (or my minor child’s) likeness, image, voice, and name (hereinafter “photos”), for the purposes of Community promotional materials, publications, websites, social media, and any other forms of media or communication. The purposes of these photos are for use by the Community to promote activities, events, and initiatives of the Community. The Community may use, reproduce, distribute, and display the photos in whole or in part, and may alter, modify, or combine them with other materials for the purposes stated above. I, further release the Community and its agents, officials, officers or representatives, from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the use of the photos, including any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of rights. This Photo Consent Agreement (“Agreement”) applies in perpetuity from the date of execution of this Agreement.
