Nomination
Established in 1985, The Marcia Reinfeld Samuels and Morton Abraham Samuels Fund Award recognizes nurses who exemplify our system’s commitment to the relentless pursuit of clinical excellence and the delivery of compassionate and equitable care. These nurses portray the best of the profession through patient encounters, innovative project initiatives, community service and overall professional practice.
We ask that you, our colleagues to nominate an RN who has demonstrated the following traits to all whom they come in contact with:
* Always described as sincere, intelligent,
* Reliable to do the right thing in difficult times and enthusiastic,
* Devoted to their work and their co‐workers
* Act as educators, team players, champions and friends.

Write your nomination letter as if you were the one presenting the award to your co‐worker. Tell that nurse why you honor him or her with this recognition and provide examples on how he or she inspires you to be the best nurse you can be.
