The AACR is dedicated to the education, training, and professional development of cancer research investigators and Professional Development Sessions are an integral part of the AACR Annual Meeting experience. Organized as a collaborative effort by the AACR Science Education and Career Advancement Committee, Minorities in Cancer Research (MICR) Council, Women in Cancer Research (WICR) Council, Associate Member Council (AMC), and the Publications Committee, these exciting sessions are available to Annual Meeting registrants free of charge and provide important skills to investigators at all stages in their careers.
Participation in "From Hypothesis to Headline: Publishing Your Research" is available exclusively to registered attendees of the AACR Annual Meeting 2026. Pre-registration is required.
Moderated by Dr. Christine Iacobuzio-Donahue, Editor-in-Chief of Cancer Research, and Dr. Timothy Yap, Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Cancer Research, this interactive session will focus on how to navigate the publishing process. From selecting the right journal, to writing and structuring a compelling manuscript, to managing peer review and revisions, participants will gain practical insights and actionable strategies for successful publication.
