2026 IMMA Leadership Luncheon Awards Submission Form

IMMA Leadership & Awards Luncheon

Each year, managers from across the state come together to discuss best practices and to honor several IMMA members with leadership awards. The awards will be presented at the 2026 Annual Leadership Luncheon in Plainfield on Tuesday, September 8.

The categories for the leadership awards are as follows.

Longevity Award
Member with 10 years of continuous service to a community as an Indiana manager.

2026 Rising Leader Award
Member who demonstrates exceptional leadership potential, initiative, and a strong commitment to professional growth.

Strength & Resilience Award
Member who has overcome significant challenges demonstrating perseverance, adaptability, and unwavering dedication to the profession and the community.

2026 Member of the Year Award
Member who has made outstanding contributions through exceptional leadership, service, and commitment during the year.

Community Partner Award
Individual or government unit that has demonstrated outstanding support and partnership in advancing the association’s mission and seen as an exemplary example of a professionally managed community.


Eligibility
  • Nominees must be an IMMA member in good standing.
  • Nominees must be a municipal manager or employee.


Please submit your nominations by 4:00 p.m. on August 21, 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: Nominations will be made by secret submission to the nominating committee to ensure confidentiality and impartiality. All nomination materials and deliberations will be handled by staff under strict confidentiality until the public announcement.
