Award Regulations:
Eligibility
Created in 1979, this award is presented annually to the person who has worked unselfishly for the success of the association. The recipient is recognized for reflecting the spirit of the original founders of the association—individuals committed to promoting communication, cooperation, sharing, and unity, as well as to fostering growth and enhancing professionalism within the association. Nominations due by December 19, 2025.
Nomination Guidelines
The nominee must have been an APA member for at least ten consecutive years. The nominee must have made outstanding contributions to the association. Current Awards Committee members and spouses or relatives of Awards Committee members are not eligible for nomination.

Judging Process
Although multiple nominations can be submitted for each nominee, only one nomination is required to ensure eligibility for the award. Nominations will be active for 3 years. The Awards Committee will score all entrants and select a winner.

The award recipient will be announced at the 2026 International Personalization Expo in Las Vegas. The winner will receive a Gold Obelisk and a profile in Insights magazine.
