2026 Superintendent Community Evaluation

Please provide information to assist the School Board as it evaluates
the Superintendent by responding to the following statements about our
Superintendent, Dr. Phil Gale, using the following scale:
Distinguished -Performance consistently reflects practice at the highest level.
Proficient -Performance consistently reflects practice at a professional level.
Needs Improvement - The superintendent is functioning below proficient
performance expectations.
Failing - The superintendent does not meet performance expectations.

and has a plan in place that
focuses on student
achievement and maintains
and implements sound
educational plans and
programs.
2.Is receptive to and
encourages new ideas and
strategies.
3.Maintains high standards of
ethics, honesty and
integrity in personal and
professional matters.
4.Is visible to the community.
5.Builds and maintains
appropriate relations with
community organizations,
booster organizations,
business community, and
advocacy groups.
6.Has provided the
community with timely
information regarding
district programs and
activities.
7.Engages with news media
effectively for the good of
the district's image.
8.Assures that the district
facilities are well maintained
and utilized, their
appearance exceptional and
at all times functional.
