2026 Netball ACT Coaching Excellence Award

NOMINATIONS CLOSING FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER

Coaches play an exceptionally important role within netball, having the ability to develop and nurture the individual athlete both on and off the court. The Netball ACT Coaching Excellence Award recognises the outstanding contribution of a dedicated individual coach who has excelled in providing support, development and growth for both coaches and athletes within competitions conducted by Netball ACT.

Nominees must be a current coach of a team competing in the Netball ACT GMI State League or Capital Chemist Junior Championships.

Nominees must be registered members of Netball ACT and hold a current Netball Australia Coaching Accreditation.

2.Please confirm the Member Association and Club/Team this person coaches.
3.Is the nominee a registered member of Netball ACT?
4.Does the nominee hold a current Netball Australia Coaching Accreditation?
5.Please provide examples of the nominees commitment to the overall development of players.
6.Please provide examples (where possible) of the nominees development of players that have been selected into Netball ACT Academy Squads or Representative Teams.
7.Where applicable provide examples of team performance improvement (previous years competition results).
8.Provide examples of the nominees commitment to coaching numerous teams (school, club, district).
9.Provide examples of the nominees demonstrated sportsmanship towards all concerned.
10.Provide examples of competition results from the nominees time as a coach.
