Carroll County and the jurisdictions within the county have drafted an update to the 2020 Carroll, Crawford, Greene, and Sac Counties Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan, and is asking the public to provide feedback about the plan. The benefit of completing a Hazard Mitigation Plan is eligibility for FEMA Hazard Mitigation grants. The plan also helps the jurisdictions plan for potential hazards which may effect the community and can help prepare for these hazards to lessen the impact they have on the community.
