The Chatham-Kent EmployerOne Survey is an annual survey that gathers input from employers across Chatham-Kent to better understand local workforce needs and support effective workforce planning. The survey explores workforce successes and challenges experienced over the past year (November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2026), while also identifying trends and anticipated needs for the year ahead (November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027).
Through the survey, employers provide valuable insights on topics such as hiring activity, employee turnover, projected vacancies, recruitment practices, and workforce challenges. It also offers an opportunity for employers to share their perspectives on the skills, education, and training of job candidates, helping to inform strategies that strengthen Chatham-Kent's workforce and meet the evolving needs of local employers.
The survey should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Findings from the Survey will be shared in a full report and at a community presentation in March 2027.
