There will be a new By The Bay Needlearts SAL
series called THE BOOK CLUB
SAL will start the first week of June 2026

THE BOOK CLUB DETAILS

The Book Club series is a bookshelf design divided into six sections, each inspired by a classic novel: “Anne of Green Gables,” “The Secret Garden,” “Pride and Prejudice,” “Heidi,” “Little House on the Prairie,” and “Little Women.” There will be 6 charts total in the series


Starting June 1st, 2026, they will release one section each month featuring characters and motifs from the story. AND as an added bonus each month you will get a specially made bookmark for each novel which will be FREE for club members only. Meaning when we offer these for sale outside of the club the bookmarks will not be included. They will only be in your order if you are in the club. So if you want to collect the bookmark freebies, then you need to join the club.

The first release, “Anne of Green Gables,” will include the top section of one side of the bookshelf, followed by “The Secret Garden” with the top section of the other side and then move down to each level of the bookshelf until complete.

The first release will ship to us on/around the 3rd week of May so we get them in time to mail out to you, so you have them by the 1st week of June.

We will be offering the CHART ONLY in the club.

The fabric color and count will the fabric of your choice. We will not be offering fabric cuts. Everyone's choice is different and it makes it too hard to offer fabric for this piece for us. They said a CREAM fabric (or any neutral would work) just as long as you pick something where white will show up good.

STITCH COUNT: 308w x 423h

14ct aida or 28ct linen (over 2 linen threads) - 22" x 30.21" approx design size

16ct aida or 32ct linen (over 2 linen threads) - 19.25" x 26.44" approx design size

18ct aida or 36ct linen (over 2 linen threads) - 17.11" x 23.50" approx design size

28ct linen over 1 linen thread - 11" x 15.11" approx design size

40ct linen over 1 linen thread - 7.7" x 10.6" approx design size


It is stitched using all DMC floss. We have a sheet that lists all of the DMC colors needed (lots of them) as well as how many of each skein you will need along with some other helpful information. We will post that image below for you so if you wish to screenshot it and save it for reference you may do so. You then can prepare ahead of time your supplies that will be needed for this series. The floss needed is based on 14ct/28ct fabric so if you choose to stitch on a higher count fabric you will have plenty of floss to do so.

You can join this club at any time BUT if you join after the SAL starts in June you MUST purchase all previously released charts. This way it keeps our inventory even and we don't end up with extras of a certain section of the project which does us no good. It needs to be sold a a FULL SET of 6 charts total

GOODIES: in addition to the chart each month you will also get a matching bookmark to go with each book that is featured for that month. So you will end up with a fun collection of book themed Bookmarks in the end also. These bookmarks are available to club members only and will only be included in chart orders for club members.

BILLING/ SHIPPING: Once we know the charts are shipping to us we will bill you for each release. All orders will ship USPS First Class Mail. at a rate of $ 5.50/release (unless postage goes up).

We ship INTERNATIONALLY as well, so we welcome anyone to order. International shipping costs will be based on the weight of your package and your location. On International orders we can hold and mail multiple releases together to help save you on shipping costs if you would like. Just put a note in the comments section to HOLD and SHIP however many releases at a time you want us to ship to you.

NOTE: at this time we are not shipping to the UK due to the VAT tax that needs to be collected. We are not setup for collect or pay this tax as of now.
