Know an individual or organization that has made a positive impact on diabetes prevention in Rhode Island? Nominate them for the 2026 Grace Diaz Blue Light Award! The RIWDD Committee will award this annual recognition to an organization or individual who demonstrates a strong, proactive commitment to diabetes care through timely detection, risk reduction, and preventive care to improve health outcomes and reduce complications of diabetes. Other nomination criteria include outstanding work, innovation, and leadership in advocacy, patient care, and/or academics (teaching and research).
